Two Noel Gallagher Tracks Leak Online

Two unreleased tracks from former Oasis and current High Flying Bird’s songwriter/guitar player Noel Gallagher man managed to ruminate around the internet earlier this week, “God Help Us All” and “It Makes Me Wanna Cry.” Gallagher, who is currently undergoing a tour in support of his first record with the High Flying Birds, allegedly cut both of the tracks acoustically at sound checks this year.
Gallagher has had a long-rumored psychedelic project with Amorphous Androgynous waiting in the queue as his second album to be released following his blusterous split with brother Liam. Neither of the two tracks, which are both in infant form, seem to fit with that project and are more likely to be placed on an additional High Flying Birds record. Here’s hoping that the follow-up to High Flying Birds, whether in 2012 or 2013, is as good as the first, one of the most refreshing records of last year and the best work from Gallagher in quite some time.
