Long After Dark to Live Blog Sunday’s Olympic Closing Ceremony Concert

A curious way of delivering a Long After Dark first: on Sunday, Long After Dark will live-blog the tape delayed broadcast of Sunday evening’s Olympic closing ceremony. LAD will focus on the ceremony’s concert. It is believed that NBC will show the concert, which is rumored to contain performances by 20 artists ranging from The Who, Paul McCartney, the Spice Girls, Adele, Kate Bush, OneDirection, and George Michael in what will likely be one of the greatest displays of the incredible depth of British pop music over the last 50 years. Concert director David Arnold has already called this event, “the wedding reception” of the Olympics.
