Long After Dark Radio Show II

In honor of Bob Mould’s forthcoming record, Silver Age, Long After Dark’s second weekly radio nods to music vets who know how to crank it up a little bit by tackling “Star Machine,” the lead track from the former Husker Du/Sugar’s tenth solo album. It wouldn’t be the start of the football season without hearing NBC’s rip of Joan Jett, so to coincide with the return of the NFL, the coolest woman in rock makes an appearance. Other highlights include Queen jamming with Paul Rodgers in Chile, Neil Young stunning both Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen, and Mike Campbell shredding his guitar part in “Refugee” at the Isle of Wight festival this summer.
